In welcoming Lantern Festival 元宵节, a traditional Chinese holiday celebrated on the last day of the Chinese New Year , learn to fuse East and West using a combination of Chinese and Western painting techniques using gold color pigments to create a truly unique paper lantern.
Be inspired by one of the most important winter art motifs in Chinese Painting: Plum Blossons 梅 and learn about its symbolic meaning in Chinese culture.
 
Be guided by the studio's artist with prepared exercises and practices before you
unleash your brush strokes onto the lantern.
 
*Pls note this workshop is designed to learn how to paint on paper lanterns based on the above photos only and not any other themes. This is not a freestyle workshop.
