Chinese Ink Bamboo Painitng

Take your appreciation of Chinese painting to a deeper level as you learn the skills and techniques of traditional ink in this condensed workshop. You'll be guided through experimenting with the Chinese paintbrush, rice paper , and ink and be introduced to a typical Chinese painting theme: bamboo.

Discover the traditions of Chinese painting and learn the contrasts between Chinese and Western Art
Experiment with different Chinese artistic tools and styles, guided by the studio's artist.
Create your very own ink bamboo painting and take it home afterward!

Glass Vase Painting Workshop

Be inspired by Wu Guan Zhong 吴冠中, one of the most celebrated modern Chinese ink artists. His artworks had both the Western style of impressionism, fauvism and post-impressionism and the Eastern style of Chinese ink and calligraphy. Learn to decorate on a glass vase using Western glass paints, a combination of traditional Chinese painting and Western painting techniques, be guided by the studio's artist to decorate your own vase with Wu Guan Zhong portrayal of colorful trees. Bring your vase home after the workshop as a new décor item or as a special gift.

All levels | 1.5 - 2 hours | 1 glass vase each

Chinese Teapot Painting

Learn to decorate and paint on traditional Chinese teapot with typical Chinese painting motifs such as bamboos and plum blossoms. Be guided with exercises and choose one theme to focus on to decorate your teacups with. Bring your own tea pot home as a new décor item or as a special gift.
