Learn to decorate on a delicate Chinese vase, inspired by:
1) The scroll painitng 'Double Lotus' or
2) The albulm leaf painitng ' Emerald Bamboo'
created by the Italian-born Qing court painter Guiseppe Castiglone (郞世宁).
 
Using a combination Western and Chinese painting techniques, be guided by the studio's artist to decorate your very own ceramic pieces. And learn about how Castiglione adapted his Western painting style to Chinese themes and taste, creating a style that is a fusion of European and Chinese traditions.
* Please note this is not a ceramic making workshop. This is a painting workshop learning how to decorate on ready-made Chinese ceramic items with air-dry DIY ceramic paints that do not require oven-firing.
