Learn to decorate and paint on Chinese teapots inspired by typical traditional Chinese art motifs such as bamboos, plum blossoms , lotuses , chrysanthemums or orchids that have highly symbolic meanings in Chinese culture. ( If you come in a group of more than 4 people, please choose 1 or 2 of the above themes for the whole group )
Using a combination of traditional Chinese painting and Western impressionistic painting techniques, be guided by the studio's artist to decorate your very own teapots. Bring your own tea pot home as a new décor item or as a special gift after the wrokshop!
*Please note this is not a ceramics- making workshop where item has to be fired in kiln. This is a workshop to learn how to paint and decorate onto a ready- made ceramic item.
-Decorated teapots are suitable for decorative or occasional use and not everyday use.
-After drying, the colors tolerate gentle washing by hand, without soaking.
-Decorated surfaces not intended to be in contact with food.
-Do not scratch or rub the painted surface.
